Spring Week CV in need of SHREDDING

Honestly I wouldn't apply with this. This is how the CV of an average candidate looks like. You can always try but I suggest you gain some finance related experience instead of applying.

    Shred my Spring Week CV!!

Have all the bulletpoints start at the same line (not one main one which is followed by many). Keep bulletpoints to once sentence long only. Start each bulletpoints with an action word (helped, learned, achieved, etc) and don't write it from a first person view ('I did this and that'). Review...

Now they are too short/and low-quality. Incorporate numbers where you can and focus on what exactly you have achieved/learned from your experiences. Remove the Skills section atogether. You don't need to say 'beginner' or 'undergoing X course'. And have all your interests just on one line...

Target schools are oxford, cambridge and london school of economics etc. The highest quality of universities where all the banks go to, to hold networking events. Semitarget is one tier below that, banks still go there but its very limited. Uni of edinburgh is in that bracket. You don't put...

Please shred my Spring Week CV!

You can always try but don't have your hopes up too much IMO. Kind of a general CV and semi-target and target students easily have the same. Maybe try networking?

    Shred my Springweek CV please!

Some of the bulletpoints are lengthy. Aim for 1 line for each. In the last section have 'Intermediate Chinese' instead of Chinese (intermediate) and stuff. And same goes for interests, write sth like 'managed personal portfolio of fiat and cryptocurrencies' and 'football - coached for AC Milan...

    Spring week application 2018

Any front office job is probably out of your reach. If you want to do investment banking or trading, start networking with alumni. For back and middle office roles (finance is one) you will be fine. There is an eligibility list on every bank's website where you can see the requirements for the...

    Spring Week Applications 2018

Looks good. - No one cares. - A-Levels are enough. - Just put expected grade 1st or 2:1.. it wont really make a difference. Good luck.

Do I stand a chance for Spring Weeks?

    - It doesn't matter where I see it. What matters is that automation is becoming very important and the skill to program computers is becoming more and more valuable. If it's not quant trading, it will be something else, and that's not the only field to make money. There is no 'whole finance...

    Another 2018 spring week CV

Don't start sentences with 'I', use action words in the beginning ('mentored','trained','achieved','researched' and stuff). The last section is too big it needs to be broken down. Your CV overall seems cluttered.

It's better. Quantify your achievements in the professional experience section, incorporate a few numbers.

Professional, volunteering. Attending talks helps in tailoring your cover letters to them, but that's it. Winning maths and physics competition are very good, make sure you include that.

If you don't have any more experience, it is fine. Your best bet will be networking though: your profile is very average except for LSE. Which gives you the upper hand as there will be a lot of networking events and there is lots of alumni working in the industry.

Do I stand a chance for Spring Weeks?

    - If you want to go into quantitative trading, physics was a great choice to study. For coding, learn functional programming languages and/or C# as those are the main languages used there. - If you are going to a top ranked university in Germany, that means you are going to a European target...
