As a Claims Handler Liability, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of insurance claim files. This includes opening claim files, investigating damage reports, assessing coverage, examining facts and circumstances, making expert appointments, analyzing expert reports, determining intervention positions, processing payments, pursuing recourse, and closing cases. For complex cases, you will consult with Claims Advisors and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and brokers.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in law or insurance, preferably with several years of claims management experience. You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently. Strong interpersonal abilities and proficiency in both Dutch and French are essential. Experience in claims handling and a detail-oriented approach are crucial for success in this role.
