Aon is seeking a recently qualified accountant to join their Pensions Covenant & Security Team in London. The role involves providing pension scheme trustees and companies with critical financial strength analysis and corporate finance advice, working with senior leaders across leading UK companies and their pension schemes.
As a Covenant Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for producing high-quality financial strength analysis reports, presenting findings to key stakeholders, advising pension scheme trustees on sponsor financial strength, and assessing the impact of corporate activities like mergers and acquisitions.
Ideal candidates will have an accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA), strong interpersonal and report writing skills, and preferably experience in financial advisory environments such as restructuring, corporate finance, or transaction services. Understanding of employer covenant matters or defined benefit pensions is beneficial but not mandatory.
