Aon is seeking an experienced Data Architect & Modeller to drive the Reporting & Business Intelligence architecture strategy for their Commercial Risk Solutions ecosystem. The candidate will help define global and country-specific data models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping data and analytics strategy.
Primary responsibilities include engaging with country-level Finance and Operational teams to understand reporting requirements, collaborating with Product Managers to refine global reporting capabilities, defining data flows and models, working with analysts to create user stories, supporting cross-functional Agile teams, and ensuring successful data integration with regional and global warehouses.
Required experience includes 8-10 years in Data Engineering/Modelling/Architecture, with strong proficiency in relational databases, warehousing technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks, and Snowflake. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in database normalization, dimensional modeling, SQL, Python, data processing tools like Spark, and cloud services like Azure.
