Job description
Aon is seeking an experienced Executive Director to support business expansion in their Professional Services Group (PSG). This role focuses on building new business across professional services, particularly law firms, with an ambitious target of generating £1.5m-£2m in annual revenue within 4 years.
This role involves leading client expansion in the Professional Services Group, with a 50% focus on generating new business revenue and a 50% focus on servicing major existing accounts. The primary responsibilities include developing a revenue stream of £1.5m-£2m per annum, building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders like Partners and C-Level executives, and crafting strategies to source new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in professional indemnity insurance for professional services firms, with strong technical knowledge, strategic thinking capabilities, and a proven track record of developing new business. Key requirements include being a trusted advisor, having excellent relationship-building skills, understanding complex client needs, and the ability to lead account teams with autonomy and gravitas.
