This role involves leading and handling large, sophisticated property damage and business interruption losses for Aon Commercial Risk Clients. Primary responsibilities include advising on initial mitigation strategies, assisting in resolving incident causes, calculating loss magnitudes, and supporting claim documentation in accordance with policy terms. The consultant will be responsible for managing the entire claims process, from interim submissions through to final negotiated settlements, while maintaining effective communication with clients, insurers, and other third-party representatives.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience as a qualified loss adjuster, forensic accountant, or claims consultant with strong technical insurance skills. Required qualifications include expertise in policy interpretation, project scheduling, construction estimating, and replacement valuations. Candidates should demonstrate advanced project management capabilities, strong client advocacy skills, and the ability to conduct high-level discussions with C-suite executives. Proficiency in MS Office and potential language skills are crucial, with experience in Natural Resources, Power, Energy, or Renewables being a significant advantage.
