Aon is seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant with extensive post-qualification experience to advise clients on strategic pensions issues. The ideal candidate will lead client relationships, manage complex projects, and provide high-quality technical actuarial services in a collaborative consulting environment.
The primary responsibilities include advising clients on strategic pensions issues such as valuations, funding negotiations, integrated risk management, risk settlement projects, and PPF levy management. The consultant will lead day-to-day client relationships, direct large projects like valuations and factor reviews, and take overall responsibility for technical work quality.
Required experience includes being a qualified actuary with extensive post-qualification experience in retirement/pensions consulting. Candidates must have a strong track record of leading client relationships, possess sound technical capabilities, and demonstrate expertise in the pensions industry. Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work with trustees and pensions managers are essential.
