Job description
A senior actuarial consulting role at Aon focusing on employee benefits, requiring extensive experience in actuarial valuations, project management, and international accounting standards. Primary Responsibilities: As a Senior Consulting Actuary in employee benefits, you will be part of a dynamic team of actuaries and advisors providing strategic advice about employee benefit schemes. Your key responsibilities include conducting international (IFRS/US GAAP) and local pension fund actuarial valuations, discussing and reviewing calculation assumptions, presenting results, and engaging with auditors. You will also be involved in non-recurrent projects such as harmonization initiatives, mergers and acquisition support, and asset-liability management (ALM) studies for pension funds.
Required Experience and Skills: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience running actuarial accounting valuations and project management involving multiple parties. You must be able to work independently while maintaining excellent team collaboration skills. Strong technical proficiency is essential, including advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities. Fluency in Dutch or French and English is required. The role demands accuracy, a service-minded approach, and passion for numerical analysis.
