Aon is seeking a Security Integration and Automation Engineer to empower their security organization by developing innovative solutions that integrate security platforms into a cohesive ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in security infrastructure, cloud services, and automation technologies, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and supporting advanced security tools and platforms.
Primary responsibilities include applying GitOps/DevOps approaches to develop platform and detection as code, designing and building security tools and platforms like SIEM/SOAR, creating custom automation and integrations across multiple tools, setting development standards, leading project implementations, and conducting detailed solution analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Candidates must have 7+ years of technical experience in security infrastructure, with proven expertise in SIEM technologies, cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD solutions, programming (especially Python), API integrations, containerization, and Kubernetes. Strong programming skills, Linux/Windows networking knowledge, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of leading technical implementations are essential.
