Job description
Aon Health Solutions is seeking a WIA Casemanager in Rotterdam to specialize in absence management, re-integration, and disability case management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex WIA and long-term absence cases, working closely with employees, employers, insurers, and UWV to optimize return-to-work strategies and ensure appropriate support and benefits.
As a WIA Casemanager, your primary responsibilities will involve being a specialist in absence management, re-integration, and disability processes. You will be a key strategic partner in managing long-term absence and WGA (Work Resumption Partially Disabled) files, focusing on reducing and controlling absence and disability costs. This includes reviewing WIA decisions, determining follow-up steps such as implementing interventions, filing appeals, and requesting re-assessments.
The role requires a candidate with a relevant HBO-level education (such as HRM, Psychology, or Law) with additional qualifications like ROV, RCCM, RCM, or RSZ. You must have a minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience as a Case Manager for Absence or a comparable role in absence management. Excellent Dutch language skills are essential, with English proficiency being a bonus. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, results-oriented, proactive, convincing, and solution-focused, with the ability to motivate and activate individuals.
