As an Expert Pricing Consultant, your primary responsibilities include working with integrated consulting teams to define key analyses and deliver high-impact pricing solutions. You will lead teams from the Pricing Center of Expertise on client-facing engagements, serving as the problem-solving lead who gathers data, assesses pricing processes, produces excellent analysis, and delivers compelling recommendations. Key tasks include project managing pricing workstreams, defining deliverables, setting timelines, creating custom analyses, training clients on new approaches, and implementing appropriate tools.
The ideal candidate must have a BA or equivalent, with at least 2-3 years of consulting experience in pricing projects or 4+ years of industry-level pricing experience. Essential requirements include strong proficiency in big data gathering, manipulation, analytics, and visualization tools like Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, and PowerBI. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and experience working with B2B commercial transaction data. Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in diverse teams, and comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
