Santander is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to analyze and monitor credit risk for Financial Institutions in Continental Europe. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring the credit risk profile of Continental Europe SCIB's Financial Institutions portfolio, providing comprehensive risk assessments, performing ratings for groups and subsidiaries, and managing the admission process of deals through various committees. Your primary responsibilities will include defining annual risk appetite and limits for each client, clearly identifying potential risks during transaction analysis, and rationally monitoring capital and risk-weighted asset allocation to protect and strengthen Banco Santander's balance sheet, particularly in its Continental Europe franchise.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in credit risk or corporate banking, with a preferably university degree in Economics or Business Administration. Essential requirements include strong financial analysis skills, comprehensive knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking products, excellent communication abilities, high English proficiency, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Additional desired qualifications include CFA certification, previous experience within SCIB, knowledge of Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters, and Spanish language skills.
