This role is responsible for performing detailed calculations and analysis of valuation controls, including Independent Price Verification (IPV), valuation adjustments, and prudent valuation adjustments. Key responsibilities include leading business forecast routines, conducting product reviews, and performing supervisory oversight of product control teams.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA) with extensive knowledge of interest rate derivatives, complex non-linear products, and strong financial accounting expertise. Candidates must demonstrate advanced financial analysis skills, capability in devising valuation methodologies, and experience in automating processes using technical tools.
