Job description
A virtual two-day discovery programme for Black Heritage students interested in technology roles at Barclays. Aimed at students graduating in 2027, this opportunity provides insights into financial technology careers, networking with senior leaders, and potential consideration for a 2026 summer internship.
Primary responsibilities include participating in virtual seminars and workshops about financial services, technology business areas, and understanding the recruitment process at Barclays. Attendees will gain insights into technology roles, explore Barclays' DE&I networks, and connect with current professionals.
Candidates must be 2 years from graduation, studying any degree discipline, and demonstrate curiosity about how a global bank adapts to evolving technological environments. While primarily aimed at Black Heritage students, the programme welcomes applications from all eligible students graduating in 2027.
In return, participants receive exposure to industry experts, learn about cutting-edge financial technologies like machine learning and blockchain, and gain potential pathways into future internship opportunities. Barclays offers a supportive learning environment with opportunities to network, develop skills, and potentially launch a technology career in a global financial institution.
