Job description
Barclays is seeking quantitative graduates to join their dynamic team, providing model development, analytics, and expert advice across various business areas. Successful candidates will work on algorithmic trading strategies, develop mathematical models, and apply data-driven insights in trading, finance, and risk management.
Primary responsibilities include developing mathematical models, statistical techniques, and computational tools for trading, finance, and risk management. Graduates will partner with trading desks and risk managers to automate strategies, manage risks, and deliver franchise benefits across various business areas.
Ideal candidates must have completed or be in their final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in technical disciplines such as Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Stochastic Calculus, or Computer Science. Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java are essential. Candidates should be logical problem-solvers with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
