Job description
A virtual two-day diversity program aimed at introducing women and students to technology opportunities at Barclays. Participants will learn about financial services technology, gain insights into the internship process, and connect with industry professionals. The program is designed for students graduating in 2027, offering networking, workshops, and potential consideration for a 2026 summer internship.
The primary responsibilities include participating in virtual seminars and workshops that provide insights into financial services technology, understanding Barclays' technological infrastructure, and exploring career paths in tech. Participants will engage in specific Technology breakout sessions, learn about the recruitment process, and gain comprehensive understanding of how technology supports Barclays' global operations.
Required experience includes being a student two years from graduation, with openness to understanding how a global bank adapts to evolving technological environments. While primarily targeted at women in technology, the program welcomes all eligible students. Candidates should demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in technological innovation within financial services.
In return, participants receive exposure to a world-leading technology hub, opportunities to network with senior leaders and current graduates, insights into Barclays' diverse technology networks, and potential pathways to future internship opportunities. The program offers a unique chance to understand the intersection of technology and financial services, with potential for career development in a supportive and innovative environment.
