Job description
An 18-month apprenticeship program for individuals seeking to start a career in pension administration. Ideal for those wanting to gain a professional qualification without university fees, with opportunities for career progression and comprehensive training in the pensions sector.
Primary responsibilities include communicating with clients and pension scheme members, processing client pension payrolls, preparing benefit calculations, arranging payments, liaising with tax offices, and completing year-end returns. Apprentices will be involved in day-to-day pension administration tasks and support team activities.
Candidates should have A-Level standard or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade 4 (C) or higher including Maths and English. Essential skills include strong communication, customer focus, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, numerical aptitude, and a positive attitude towards learning and professional development. Candidates should be organized, able to build effective working relationships, and keen to develop new skills.
