Job description
An exciting apprenticeship opportunity in pension administration for individuals looking to start their career without university fees, offering professional qualification and career progression at a leading UK professional services consultancy.
As a Pension Administrator Apprentice, your primary responsibilities will include communicating with clients, members, and advisers via email, letter, and telephone; processing client pension payrolls including net pay calculations, arranging payments, liaising with tax offices, and preparing year-end returns. You will generate computer-based benefit calculations, prepare related correspondence, and participate in team meetings to understand priorities and offer support.
Candidates should ideally have A-Level standard or equivalent with grade C or higher in two or more subjects, with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or equivalent including Maths and English. Essential skills include a customer-focused approach, strong attention to detail, positive attitude, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. Experience can be drawn from employment, work experience, volunteering, hobbies, or interests.
