Job description
Barnett Waddingham offers an eight-week paid summer internship in Actuarial Consulting for students in their penultimate year of studies. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in pension scheme consulting, working with real client projects and gaining insights into the actuarial profession.
Primary responsibilities include contributing to client work, performing actuarial calculations, participating in projects for defined benefit pension schemes in private and public sectors, and assisting with member calculations, data checking, and report drafting.
Required skills include being on track for a minimum 2:1 degree, A-Level or Higher Maths, and English Language proficiency. Candidates should be dynamic, proactive, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong academic performance with an interest in the actuarial profession.
