Job description
Berenberg is seeking an IT Governance Manager to support their Organizational Development & Governance department. The role involves analyzing, developing, and optimizing IT processes and policies while ensuring regulatory compliance in a dynamic technology environment with approximately 300 IT employees.
As an IT Governance Manager, you will be responsible for independently analyzing, developing, and optimizing processes and policies according to best practices for implementing business and regulatory requirements. This includes supporting management in appropriately and effectively designing the IT process organization and internal control system, ensuring transparency and traceability, and communicating with IT management.
Candidates should have a successfully completed degree with relevant professional orientation, initial professional experience in IT environments, particularly in IT consulting, IT management, IT process management, or IT audit. A high interest in regulatory frameworks like DORA, MaRisk, BAIT, and IT standards such as ITIL and COBIT is essential. Strong analytical skills for capturing and structuring complex contexts, along with excellent German and English language skills, are required.
