Job description
A team assistant role in the Corporate Banking division at Berenberg, supporting Relationship Managers in International Shipping. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Supporting Relationship Managers in daily tasks including customer onboarding, client management, communication coordination, scheduling meetings, managing acquisition contacts, conducting research, and maintaining system records. Processing customer correspondence, handling financial transactions, managing administrative workflows, and supporting project-related special tasks.
Requires a completed commercial/banking training or comparable qualification, preferably with experience in corporate customer interactions or shipping sector. Strong skills needed in payment transactions, Microsoft Office, digital media, German and English languages. Must demonstrate customer-oriented approach, independent work style, process-driven thinking, and high-quality standards.
