Job description
BlackRock is seeking an Alternatives Fund Controller Associate in Dublin to oversee accounting, reporting, and administration for Real Estate Value Add Funds. This role focuses on evaluating property investment transactions, reviewing complex financial agreements, conducting in-depth discussions with external administrators, and thoroughly documenting deal trigger events throughout investment lifecycles. Primary responsibilities include comprehensive transaction analysis, NAV accounting package examination, and ensuring timely compliance with various reporting deadlines.
Candidates must possess 5+ years of professional experience with a qualified accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), specialized knowledge in Real Estate closed-ended value-add funds, understanding of European financial regulations, and proficiency in real estate accounting software like YARDI. Strong leadership, problem-solving, multitasking, and cross-team collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
