BlackRock seeks a skilled UX designer for the Aladdin UX Design team to research and design user experiences for their investment and risk analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have enterprise software design experience, strong UX/UI skills, and the ability to create intuitive designs for complex technological environments.
As a UX Designer at BlackRock, you will own and influence design of tools used by internal and external users, create detailed wireframes, journeys, and prototypes, and ensure design consistency with UX guidelines. You'll work closely with product managers, researchers, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive design solutions.
The role requires 5+ years of application design experience, preferably with a BFA in HCI or related field. Candidates must demonstrate expert-level proficiency in developing UX artifacts, using Figma, communicating design concepts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong skills in mobile and responsive design are essential, with additional experience in B2B, enterprise software, or fintech design being advantageous.
