Job description
BlackRock is seeking a Vice President for its Technology Audit practice to manage and deliver global audits, assess risk and control frameworks, and partner with stakeholders to manage technology and data risks across operations. This role offers an opportunity to shape and influence the firm's risk approach in a dynamic and collaborative technology environment.
Primary responsibilities include planning, executing, and managing technology and integrated audits, identifying key risks and controls, developing audit plans, testing control effectiveness, investigating issues, preparing audit reports, and managing stakeholder communications throughout the audit process.
The ideal candidate requires 7+ years of technology audit or IT risk management experience, preferably in financial services, with advanced knowledge of technology controls. Must have a BA/BS degree in management information systems, engineering, technology, or computer science, with professional certifications like CISA or CISM highly desirable. Strong leadership, project management, communication, and critical thinking skills are essential.
