The primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive valuation reviews for investment funds, analyzing investment committee memos, reviewing third-party valuation reports, and producing detailed investment valuation analysis. The associate will lead discussions with Blackstone valuation teams, execute ad-hoc projects, and generate monthly and quarterly reporting for management teams and boards.
The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, with over 4 years of relevant financial services experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm. Strong technical accounting skills, IFRS knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with various valuation approaches are essential. Expertise in Luxembourg fund regulations and alternative investment fund operations is highly valued.
