Blackstone's Tactical Opportunities team is seeking a Senior Associate in London to evaluate and underwrite potential investments in the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of buyside investing experience, strong analytical skills, and deep knowledge of Financial Services corporate transactions.
Primary responsibilities include evaluating and underwriting potential Financial Services investments from initial screening through transaction completion, supervising detailed financial modeling for operating companies, and leading diligence processes with external advisors and stakeholders.
Required experience includes 6+ years of buyside investing experience with focus on Financial Services corporate transactions, strong analytical capabilities, deep familiarity with Financial Services concepts, and demonstrated transaction experience in banking, specialty finance, and/or insurance sectors.
