Job description
BP is seeking a Senior Buyer Analyst for a fixed-term role in their Procurement Team in Hungary. The ideal candidate will support global business services by managing purchase orders, resolving operational issues with suppliers, and ensuring smooth procurement processes.
Primary responsibilities include inspecting incoming requisitions, assigning sources of supply, generating purchase orders, confirming supplier acceptance, resolving operational issues, conducting root cause analyses, managing purchase order changes, and initiating vendor call-backs to validate banking information.
Required experience includes a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or supply chain, minimum 2 years of procurement experience in a multinational environment, proficiency in procurement applications like ARIBA and SAP, advanced Excel skills, ability to work cross-culturally, and experience in troubleshooting and prioritizing work.
