BP is seeking an experienced Energy Trading Business Analyst to work in their Technology team in Budapest. The role involves working with business and technology stakeholders to shape new features and projects, providing mentorship to a team of analysts and software engineers, and ensuring operational integrity of technology platforms for energy trading processes.
This role involves collaborating with key business and technology stakeholders to develop and implement new features and projects for energy trading systems. Primary responsibilities include shaping project requirements, enabling quality estimation and delivery, mentoring a team of analysts and software engineers through the entire project lifecycle from scoping and planning to development, quality assurance, and post-delivery support.
The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of hands-on experience implementing ETRM systems, deep experience in trading business processes, and strong skills in requirements definition, solution design, implementation, and testing. Candidates should have extensive experience working across trading floor operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in complex business environments.
