Job description
Citi is seeking a Product Control Analyst to join their Finance Team in Budapest. The role involves daily profit and loss reporting, price verification, and trading activity analysis for the Institutional Clients Group. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of professional experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent English communication abilities.
As a Product Control Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end Product Control processes, including daily P&L preparation and related activities. This involves comprehensive review and analysis of new trades, associated risks, and generated P&L. You will work closely with various finance department areas, including Trading Desk, Risk Management, Operations, Middle Office, and IT teams, ensuring timely issue identification and driving process improvements.
The role requires strong analytical capabilities, with a focus on reviewing market moves on existing trade portfolios. Candidates should have a university degree in Finance/Accounting (though not mandatory), demonstrating capability in financial product understanding. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are crucial, with training provided on in-house and industry-standard systems. Analytical communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams are essential.
