Job description
Citi is seeking a Valuation Control Analyst for their Equities team in Budapest. The role involves performing independent price verification, calculating valuation adjustments, and ensuring fair value leveling for financial portfolios. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of finance experience with strong analytical and technical skills.
This role involves performing independent price verification (IPV) for equities portfolios, calculating and verifying valuation adjustments, and conducting fair value leveling for financial inventory. The analyst will work closely with Front Office teams to resolve valuation issues and ensure robust financial control processes.
Candidates must possess a university degree in economics, finance, or mathematics, with 1-2 years of professional experience in finance. Strong knowledge of capital markets products, advanced Excel skills (VBA/Python preferred), and excellent English communication are essential. The role requires a detail-oriented mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to critically assess and improve financial control processes.
