Job description
A 6-month internship opportunity in the Environmental and Social Risks department at Crédit Agricole CIB. The role involves supporting the ESR team in structuring environmental and social risk management frameworks, focusing on pollution, biodiversity, climate, and health and safety impacts of companies invested by the bank.
As an intern in the Environmental and Social Risks (ESR) department, you will support the team in developing and implementing comprehensive risk management frameworks. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and assessing environmental and social risks across the bank's investment portfolio, contributing to the organization of the CERES (Committee for Evaluating Operations with Environmental or Social Risks) and supporting documentation and research related to sustainability and risk assessment.
The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental studies, sustainability, or related fields, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Key requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office, fluency in French and English, strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in environmental and social risk management. Experience or coursework in ESG, HSE, or industrial risks is highly advantageous.
In return, Crédit Agricole CIB offers a dynamic internship experience on a modern campus with numerous services, including comprehensive HR support, potential future opportunities for alternance, VIE, fixed-term, and permanent contracts. The internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable finance and risk management within a leading global banking institution committed to environmental and social responsibility.
