Job description
Deutsche Bank is seeking a Junior Java Engineer for their Surveillance Area to enhance their high-availability, high-throughput platform. The role involves contributing to software development, supporting production applications, and learning advanced technologies in a dynamic corporate banking technology environment.
As a Junior Java Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include building, testing, and developing applications for the dbSIS (Surveillance Insulation Services) platform. You will be actively involved in the entire software development lifecycle, supporting team efforts and contributing to application design, configuration, and deployment.
The role requires basic experience with Java, writing tests, understanding databases, and familiarity with technologies like Kafka, MQ, REST, OpenShift, GCP, Oracle, Gradle, and Jenkins. Candidates should demonstrate strong learning potential, technical aptitude, and willingness to work in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.
