Job description
Deutsche Bank is seeking a highly skilled Sanctions & Embargo Officer in Zurich, responsible for managing complex financial compliance tasks. The role requires extensive experience in banking regulations, sanctions screening, and investigative skills in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) functions.
The primary responsibilities include ensuring comprehensive assessment and advisory support on sanctions and embargoes, identifying and escalating sanctions risks, managing transaction filtering systems, handling name screening alerts, providing project support, and preparing detailed management information and regulatory reports related to sanctions compliance.
The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Business Administration or Law, with at least 5 years of relevant professional banking experience in Switzerland, specifically focusing on Sanctions Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime, and demonstrating expert knowledge of Swiss banking law and international regulatory requirements. Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret complex data sets, and excellent stakeholder management capabilities are crucial.
