Primary responsibilities include installing, monitoring, and upgrading UNIX system software, creating and maintaining user accounts, establishing backup and recovery policies, applying patches and upgrades, and proactively monitoring infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance and minimal service interruption.
The ideal candidate will have senior-level UNIX/Linux server administration experience, deep knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, file systems, and storage. Strong skills in troubleshooting, capacity planning, shell scripting, system performance tuning, and experience with monitoring tools are essential. Knowledge of Oracle Linux, RHEL, VMware, and Ansible is required.
