As an Associate Picture Editor, your primary responsibilities include producing visual assets for Financial News and Private Equity News across digital and print platforms, performing photo research, pitching innovative visual approaches for feature coverage, maintaining quarterly budgets, and managing photography assignments and shoot productions.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of editorial production experience, a network of photographers, proficiency in photo editing tools like Photoshop and PhotoMechanic, excellent news judgment, and strong mobile-first design understanding. You should demonstrate deep research skills, familiarity with content management systems, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
