Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Assistant Director for their Transaction Diligence team in London. The role involves performing financial due diligence for corporate and financial clients across various sectors, assessing target companies' finances, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing strategic insights during mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions.
As an Assistant Director in Transaction Diligence, you will be responsible for understanding key business drivers, co-developing approaches with clients, project managing teams, and providing strategic financial insights. You'll conduct comprehensive financial assessments, verify information, and prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients across different industries.
Candidates must have an ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, strong commercial experience in financial due diligence, and demonstrated business development skills. Excellent communication, project management abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure are essential. Experience in analyzing financial projections, identifying transaction risks, and working in cross-functional teams is crucial.
