Job description
EY is seeking an experienced consultant in sustainable finance to support financial institutions in their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) transformation. The role involves strategic consulting, risk management, and innovative solutions in sustainable finance across banking, insurance, and investment sectors.
Primary responsibilities include developing sustainable finance strategies, conducting competitive benchmarking, defining objectives, creating roadmaps, analyzing climate scenarios, transforming governance and ESG data processes, designing ESG products and services, managing ESG risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting ESG reporting and communication.
The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of relevant experience in audit/consulting or financial institutions, with strong convictions about responsible finance. Technical skills in climate-related areas, project management, and the ability to work on complex, high-exposure projects are essential.
