EY's Valuation, Modeling & Economics (VME) team is seeking a consultant trainee in financial evaluation for their Paris office. The role involves supporting financial decision-making through comprehensive business and asset valuation, financial modeling, and transaction support across various contexts.
Primary responsibilities include conducting financial evaluations for business transactions, supporting financial reporting processes, assisting with financial modeling, and evaluating complex financial instruments. Consultants will participate in all phases of corporate finance consulting, including financial analysis, sector research, valuation parameter determination, financial modeling, and document preparation.
Required experience includes a degree from a business or engineering school, prior internship experience in financial evaluation, investment banking, financial departments, or investment funds. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in English, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a solid understanding of corporate finance fundamentals. Strong communication, learning ability, precision, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
