This role is a unique opportunity for a final-year Fiscal Law or Fiscal Economics student to join EY's Tax, Accounting and Risk Advisory Services team in Rotterdam. The position involves working directly with clients, analyzing tax positions, supporting audit processes, and applying fiscal rules to commercial financial statements.
As a consultant in the TARAS department, you will be responsible for supporting both advisory and audit clients. Your primary responsibilities include being part of an audit team to support annual financial statement reviews, analyzing commercial tax differences, and controlling effective tax burden. You will work intensively with clients, often on-site, and be responsible for applying tax rules to commercial financial statements.
The ideal candidate is in the final phase of their Fiscal Law or Fiscal Economics degree. You should be analytically strong, proactive, ambitious, and creative. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently are crucial. Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required, and excellent Excel skills are essential. You must be comfortable with complex tax calculations and financial analysis.
