Job description
EY is seeking a Consultant for Global Trade & Sustainability within their Tax division in Rotterdam. The role involves advising clients on complex international trade regulations, sustainability challenges, and compliance with EU and Dutch legislation. Ideal candidates will have a master's degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics, with at least 2 years of experience in Global Trade.
Primary responsibilities include providing expert advice to clients on international trade regulations, helping businesses navigate complex legal frameworks related to sustainability, customs, and environmental taxes. Consultants will analyze business processes, support clients in transitioning to climate-neutral and circular business models, and ensure compliance with European and national legislation.
Required experience includes a completed Master's degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics, minimum 2 years of Global Trade experience, fluency in Dutch and English, and preferably a completed or ongoing NOB certification. Strong analytical skills, ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business solutions, and comfort with dynamic, ad-hoc work environments are essential.
