As a EU Funds Controller, you will perform audit assignments on projects financed by the European Union across various thematic areas including development aid, sustainable development, research and innovation, migration, justice, employment, social affairs, and education. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting on-site and remote client audits, preparing audit documentation, and preparing reports for the European Commission or international donors.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's in Business Economics, with 1-3 years of experience in project control, management, or reporting. Strong numerical skills, critical thinking, and organizational abilities are crucial. You should have knowledge of or be interested in learning EU funding program regulations and financial guidelines. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required, with a process-oriented and structured approach to work.
