Job description
EY is seeking a skilled professional to work on risk management projects for leading banks in the Baltics, Nordics, and Central Europe. The role requires a combination of technical and communication skills, focusing on developing analytical tools, managing financial and non-financial risks, and providing strategic solutions to banking institutions.
The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing analytical tools for managing financial and non-financial risks, applying statistical and economic techniques to risk management problems, assisting banks in analyzing and managing risks such as credit, market, AML, sanctions, and fraud risks, and participating in risk operations and framework transformations.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in banking, risk management, or finance, with hands-on experience in risk assessments, credit modeling, quantitative financial modeling, and data analysis. Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, Python or R, and proficiency in English are essential. Educational background in finance, business, physics, mathematics, statistics, or IT is preferred.
