EY is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Senior Manager for its Energy & Resources team in London. The role involves advising clients on complex indirect tax matters across the energy sector, supporting businesses through tax challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving industry focused on sustainability and energy transition.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead indirect tax advisory projects for energy clients, managing teams and delivering high-quality technical solutions across VAT, Customs duties, Excise duties, and Environmental taxes. You'll be responsible for day-to-day client delivery, team leadership, and supporting the strategic growth of the EY Indirect Tax Energy business.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of UK indirect tax advisory experience, preferably in the energy sector, with professional qualifications like ACA/ACCA/CA or CTA. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of technical excellence are essential. You should demonstrate project management capabilities, client relationship management, and the ability to navigate complex tax environments.
