Job description
EY is seeking an analytical and numbers-oriented intern for their People Advisory Services department in Hasselt. This role focuses on international employment taxation, involving cross-border tax implications, employment structures, and client communication in a dynamic global mobility environment.
The intern will support the team in researching and preparing high-level tax advice, engaging directly with international clients and mobile employees on global mobility issues. Primary responsibilities include assisting with cross-border employment situations, advising on employment structures, implementing international assignment policies, preparing tax returns, and supporting payroll setup for international clients.
Ideal candidates are final-year Master's students in Law, Economics, Commercial Sciences, or Business Management with strong interest in personal tax and payroll matters. Required skills include excellent verbal and written Dutch and English communication, analytical thinking, numerical proficiency, eagerness to learn, and ability to engage effectively with clients.
