Job description
EY seeks a promising Junior Cybersecurity Consultant to support financial services clients in managing complex cybersecurity challenges. The role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, security testing, and providing strategic security advice across various IT domains. Ideal for recent graduates with strong technical skills and a passion for cybersecurity in the financial sector.
As a Junior Cybersecurity Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and exploiting IT security weaknesses, conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and advising on improvements for vulnerability management processes. You will assess IT security incidents, coordinate with technology teams, and provide expert advice on security issues across various technological platforms including Windows, UNIX, AIX, Mainframe, Network, WebSphere, and Webseal.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity, with fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient business English. Strong technical knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus and Qualys, understanding of IT technologies, databases, operating systems, and IT processes is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong team spirit, and the ability to work autonomously while being eager to learn about the Financial Services market.
