EY is seeking an intern for their Italian NPE and Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy team. The role involves supporting critical financial and strategic projects for companies, financial institutions, and credit servicers, focusing on extraordinary restructuring, value creation, and strategic transformation initiatives.
The primary responsibilities include providing financial consulting for NPE credit transactions, conducting financial due diligence, structuring extraordinary operations involving non-core assets, supporting credit servicer growth and transformation, assisting banking creditors in debt restructuring plans, performing market analysis, executing distressed M&A corporate operations, and preparing business plans and cash flow models.
The ideal candidate requires a degree in economic disciplines, preferably in Management, Finance, or Accounting. Previous internship experience in Big 4, banks, consulting firms, investment funds, or credit servicers is advantageous. Essential skills include fluent English, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), flexibility, strong communication abilities, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
