Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for their Global Compliance & Reporting team in Germany. The role involves leading a payroll team, managing international client payroll processing, and focusing on social security and tax-related expertise across multiple locations.
As a Payroll Manager, you will be a central point of contact for national and international clients in payroll processing. You will lead a team of up to 10 employees, guide their development, ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, continuously optimize payroll workflows, and specialize in social security and tax law-related issues.
The ideal candidate has multiple years of professional experience in payroll tax and social security law, with proven team leadership skills. A completed training as a tax specialist, commercial education with further training in payroll accounting, or a relevant degree is required. Experience with payroll software (preferably DATEV LODAS), strong analytical skills, precise work methods, and excellent communication abilities in German and English are essential.
