Job description
EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance who will help organizations address cybersecurity challenges aligned with their business strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in security frameworks, governance, and the ability to lead complex cybersecurity transformation projects.
Primary responsibilities include understanding client risk exposure, developing cybersecurity strategies, assessing cybersecurity program maturity, building prioritized roadmaps for security investments, defining cybersecurity frameworks, supporting client teams by acting as interim cybersecurity leadership, monitoring project progress, and identifying business opportunities.
Required experience includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree with strong affinity for IT security, relevant experience in cybersecurity process and governance, proven experience in building Information Security Management Systems, possessing qualifications like CISM, CRISC, CISSP, knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and ability to communicate effectively with both IT and business stakeholders.
