Job description
EY is seeking an experienced consultant in energy economics to support clients across various energy sectors. The role involves strategic consulting, market analysis, and supporting business development in energy-related domains across Germany, with a focus on heat, generation, storage, trading, networks, distribution, and energy services.
In this role at EY's Energy Practice, you will support clients in the energy sector by developing and implementing functional and digitalization strategies across key business areas including heat, generation, storage, trading, networks, distribution, and energy services. You will conduct comprehensive business model and market analyses, assist in proposal creation, and support client acquisition processes.
Candidates are expected to have a completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field, with initial experience through internships or working student positions in auditing, consulting, or energy sector companies. For senior consultant positions, at least two years of relevant professional experience is preferred, particularly with a focus on energy, ESG, and climate protection. Strong teamwork skills, high responsibility, and willingness to travel are essential.
