As part of the National Office team in Berlin, you will support the Head of Tax Policy and Tax Professionals by monitoring national and international tax developments, focusing on tax legislation. Your primary responsibilities include analyzing current tax regulations, preparing comprehensive statements on draft laws and administrative guidelines, and contributing to publications about legal changes and important court decisions.
The ideal candidate should have a completed legal or business administration degree, preferably with a tax focus, or experience in tax administration. Previous experience in tax policy, such as from the Bundestag, tax authorities, or associations, is highly valued. Strong analytical skills, the ability to present complex matters clearly, and excellent communication skills in German and English are essential.
